There are significant document restrictions:

These two documents must be certified and authenticate by the Egyptian Consulate in the country of origin.

The following also applies:

1. If items are being shipped for personal use, a copy of the consignee’s identification and passport, as well as the original authorization letter are required.

2. If items are being shipped for special purposes, an original letter addressed to the Egyptian Customs stating the shipment is for special use, and the original commercial or industrial licenses are required. As well, a special use form, with the relevant company stamp, and value form, legalized by a bank is required.

3. If items shipped contain medical supplies for commercial use, the following is required: the original Medicine Political Authority approval, the Commercial Invoice approved by the Medicine Political Authority, a value form legalized by a bank, receipts of Customs Administration charges, a Commercial Invoice stamped by the bank, as well as the original and copy of the commercial registration licences.
