Import Restrictions

An import permit is required for many goods. Before posting any item, senders should confirm that the addressee has any necessary permit.

Prohibited Items

In addition to items considered non-mailable matter, the following are prohibited:

• animals
• clothing, used, intended for sale
• coal-tar, derivatives of, useable in dyes
• currency, counterfeit
• furs
• ivory
• jewellery
• precious metals and stones
• shaving brushes from Asian countries.
