Import Restrictions

Senders should determine import restrictions from the country's authorities before posting:

  • soil samples.

Prohibited Items

In addition to items considered non-mailable matter, the following are prohibited:

  • animals
  • asbestos
  • currency
  • ivory
  • jewellery
  • log and timber products from Liberia
  • offensive or immoral articles
  • political Literature
  • powder.

In addition, used clothing mailed to Honduras requires a Certificate of Disinfection endorsed by a competent authority. Customs require invoices for samples.
