Senders should determine import restrictions from the country's authorities before posting:

• drugs, medicines and theraputic substances
• foodstuffs, prepared

• goods bearing the word “Anzac”
• helmets for motor vehicle users
• mineral products
• organic chemicals
• pearls, precious stones and metals
• plants and plant products
• pharmaceuticals
• rubber articles
• sugar
• second hand clothing
• textile articles
• tobacco
• toys or playthings coated with metals
• used headgear
• wood products, wooden shoes
• woolpacks and woolpack caps
• weapons.

Prohibited Items

Items considered non-mailable matter by the Canada Post Corporation Act & Regulations (see chapter "Non-mailable Matter").

• ceramic products
• fruit cartons of any kind
• inorganic chemicals
• live trees and plants
• paper and paperboard
• photographic and cinematographic articles
• printed articles, books, newspapers-offensive by nature
• soap, and washing preparations
• specific types of glazed ceramic ware
• tanning and dying extracts.
